How do we approach our coaching? What is the model and what is the process?
The core of our coaching is the development of mature Emotional Intelligence.
And our experience is that the value of EI applies to individuals, teams and organisations alike.
We believe that learning occurs through consistent application.
So we enable our clients to apply new learning consciously and quickly back in the workplace.
We believe that learning is sustained by self motivated continuous learning.
So we leave our clients with the tools to continue learning long after we have gone.
We work with clients to develop:
Self Awareness: the ability to be aware of and assess one's own emotions, behaviour and learning preferences.
Self Management: the ability to exercise self control, adaptability, self motivation, trustworthiness and values.
Social Awareness: the understanding of empathy, organisations, groups and teams; and the importance of service.
Social Management: relationship management, conflict management, appropriate communication styles, teamwork, building alliances and leadership.
Because the neurological pathways are only etched through repeated and consistent application, we encourage and enable our clients to apply their learning back in the workplace.
The conscious experience of trial and error -as long as it is conducted with emotional competence -accelerates both the learning and the development of key relationships in the workplace.
Learning, development and growth - in individuals, teams and organisations -is fairly worthless unless our clients can continue to drive that learning themselves long after we have left.
For this reason we place enormous stress on Sustainable Learning.
Our experience is that the non directive style of our coaching, combined with self motivation as an Emotional Competence makes it much easier for our clients to continue learning and developing.
And, just to make it that much easier, we leave you with a set of tools and prompts that will keep you learning long after we're gone.
